Story

Hi, I’m Staci Allen and I help homeschool families plan for high school and college—without the overwhelm, stress,  or the four-figure consulting fees. You shouldn't have to take out a loan to plan your homeschooler's college journey.

I have homeschooled for 15 years in two states and have enjoyed every minute of the journey. I have a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois and a Certificate in College Admissions Counseling from the University of California. I am on staff at Statheros Academy, an umbrella school in Colorado, and there I focus on high school prep and college admissions guidance for homeschoolers. I am a member of the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling. 

Homeschooling already takes intention, creativity, and a lot of planning. I’m here to make sure college doesn’t feel like one more impossible puzzle. Whether you’re just beginning to think about transcripts and dual enrollment or knee-deep in applications and essays, I offer practical, personalized support built around what actually works—not what looks fancy in a brochure.

My motto is Simple Solutions for Homeschool College Planning, and I mean it. No gatekeeping, no jargon—just real help for real families. When I’m not working with students or parents, you’ll probably find me lifting weights or doing Pilates, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or taking a walk and catching up on one of my favorite podcasts. My happy place is the beach, and that is where we have made many amazing family memories. 

I started Homewise Consulting with a simple goal: to offer clear, affordable guidance to families who are doing things differently.
