Story

Hi, I’m Staci Allen and I help homeschool families plan for high school and college—without the overwhelm, stress,  or the four-figure consulting fees. You shouldn't have to take out a loan to plan your homeschooler's college journey.

I have homeschooled for 15 years in two states and have enjoyed every minute of the journey. I have a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois and a Certificate in College Admissions Counseling from the University of California. I have experience as a coach and college admissions advisor at an umbrella school in Colorado where I focused on high school prep and college admissions guidance for homeschoolers. I am a member of the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling. 

Homeschooling high school can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re responsible for something that feels as high-stakes as transcripts, credits, and college admissions.

I know because I’ve seen how many parents feel unsure, second-guess themselves, and worry they’re missing something important. That’s exactly why I created Homewise Consulting.

WHY I DO THIS WORK

Most homeschool parents are not lacking effort—they’re lacking clarity.

They’re trying to piece together:

• What counts as a credit

• How transcripts actually work

• What colleges expect

• And how to make confident decisions without guessing

My goal is simple:
To help you replace confusion with a clear, workable path forward.

MY APPROACH

I don’t believe homeschool high school should feel like you need a degree in admissions just to get it right.

Instead, I focus on:

• Simple, practical systems

• Clear explanations (no jargon or overwhelm)

• Helping you understand the why, not just the what

• Giving you confidence in your decisions

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

You don’t need someone to take over the process for you.

You need someone to help you understand it well enough that you feel confident leading it. That’s what I do through coaching and courses—provide clarity, structure, and support so you can move forward without second-guessing every step and so you can stay in the driver's seat of your child's education - where you've been all along.
